Itinerary
|

Day 01
Arrive at Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi and return to the hotel for the night stay.
Day 02
Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri
Morning drive to Agra. Visit Taj Mahal and Fort, proceed to Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03
Fatehpur Sikri - Samode
Visit Fatehpur Sikri and drive to Samode. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04
Samode - Jaipur - Lohargarh
A short drive to visit the Pink City of Jaipur in the morning, then drive on to Lohargarh. Overnight stay in a Dharamsala or camp.
Day 05
Lohargarh - Nawalgarh
Morning visit to the temples and short drive to Nawalgarh. Afternoon visit to the painted havelies. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 06
Nawalgarh - Pokaran
Early start long drive to Pokaran. Overnight Pokaran Fort.
Day 07
Pokaran - Jaisalmer
In the morning discover the Pokaran Fort and short drive to Jaisalmer. In the afternoon explore the town. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08
In Jaisalmer
Full day jeep safari to visit abandoned village of Kumdhat etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09
Jaisalmer - Barmer
Drive to Barmer and visit the local handicraft centers famous for block printing. Overnight hotel.
Day 10
Barmer - Badrajun
Drive south to the village of Badrajun. Overnight stay in the castle.
Day 11
Badrajun - Mount Abu
Drive to Mount Abu, a famous hill station with beautiful temples. Two nights in the hotel.
Day 12
In Mount Abu
Full day sightseeing of intricately carved Dilwara temples.
Day 13
Mount Abu - Bhuj
Drive deep into Gujarat state, a region which archaeologists say had advanced settlements by around 3000 BC. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14 to 17
Walk through Rann of Kutch
During these days walk through the Rann of Kutch and discover little known villages. Overnight stay in the camp. Finally on day 17th, return to Bhuj and fly to Bombay, two night-stay in the hotel.
Day 18
In Bombay
Leisurely discover the city and a boat trip across the harbor to the famous rock-cut temples of Elephanta Island.
Day 19
Departure
Transfer to airport for homeward flight. |
