Allsons International Hotels and Resorts of Malaysia is all set to start its hotels in India and Sri Lanka, says Dato' Dr. GKA Kumaraseri, Business Development Advisor (India & Sri Lanka) to Allsons International. He was talking in an exclusive interview to Praveen Ram, Executive Editor of Stayfinder.com.

Allsons International Hotels and Resorts is one of the most promising hotel groups in the world. They are already well established in South Asia and Egypt. Now they are planning to extent their operations in India and Sri Lanka. Mr. Kumaraseri was recently in these countries to explore the possibilities of setting up Hotels.

According to him, there is not enough International exposure to many Indian and Sri Lankan hotels. However, he agreed that there is a potential for development in these region.

"Some of the locations have great potential, but the details of the properties are not up to International expectations. Tourists come with some expectations. If these expectations were met, tourists themselves will advertise the location" he added. He also stressed the need for human resource development in the hotel industry.

Talking on Allsons prospects in India, Mr. Kumaraseri said they are looking for properties with a potential for growth and would be setting up hotels in near future.
