Built in the 1920s as the residence of Abida Sultan, the eldest daughter of H.H. Hamidullah Khan, Noor-Us-Sabah or 'the light of dawn', was reputed to be one of the best residential palaces in the erstwhile Bhopal State. Perched on a hill, overlooking the Bhopal Lake, the Palace is listed as one of the finest in the region, and offers one of the best views of scenic sunsets and regal ambience in decor and amenities. Noor-Us-Sabah is an ideal base for exploring the city of Bhopal and its surroundings and located at the VIP Road near Koh-e-fiza, Bhopal. Bhopal is best connected by rail on the Delhi-Madras main line, most important train pass through Bhopal. The fastest link it enjoys is from Delhi on the Shatabdi Express via Agra Gwalior and Jhansi. Indian Airlines connects Bhopal with Delhi, Bombay, Gwalior and Indore. The airport is 6 km from the hotel (10 minutes drive).
