It is a 5 hours drive from Cochin and 3-½ hour drive from Madurai by road.

Spice Village offers 54 well appointed thatched huts with modern amenities and comforts. These Tribal huts thatched with elephant grass are spread around dense plantations of forest trees and spices. The Deluxe Huts are large with separate living rooms while the Standard Huts are nice and cozy. Air-conditioning is not required as it gets cool and pleasant most time of the year. In summer, a ceiling fan is provided for an afternoon siesta.
